Update jam 4.14 ptg (Msia) 8 Feb 23 dari sahabat kami Dr Osama
"We are attempting to send the most important items that people require in this emergency scenario, which are primarily blankets and winter clothing. We are also transferring funds for heating supplies, which may be purchased there. Our primary concern right now is transportation and logistics; because there is no road access, we will wait and, if we cannot provide our supply directly, we will send it through another NGO. Our contacts in Afrin and Idlib have responded thus far, but we are still waiting for other areas such as Harasta."
We are deeply saddened and shocked by the terrible earthquake that has devastated eastern Turkiye and Northern Syria. The loss of life is horrific and the destruction of so many buildings and infrastructure will be a challenge for them for years to come.
We have a good friend from Syria, who was studying his PhD at University Teknologi Petronas. He is from Aleppo which was less badly affected by the earthquake. Another friend, also a graduate form University Teknologi Petronas is in Turkey now and is asking for our urgent help to relieve the suffering of those who are homeless and injured in the freezing cold. Many of these people are refugees from the Syrian civil war.
Please read his heartfelt message:
AlsalamuAlaykum
